Introduction:
This is Fan Fiction based on the popular Massively Multi-player Online Role Play Game: Ragnarok Online. If you know absolutely nothing about the Ragnarok Online you can still read this and get into it. I will be using familiar themes but in a fresh way so that anyone can enjoy the story. This will be a monthly release if the first chapter receives a good review from its readers. The second chapter will be written, but whether it is posted here or not relies entirely on the first chapter's popularity.

About "Louyang Monks":
This series chronicles the story of two Monk class siblings that seek to unravel the mystery behind the death of the last Champion class warrior in their world. Though this series' setting is that of the world of Ragnarok, a manhwa (Korean comic)written by Lee Myung-jin, this series is in no way cannon to to his series nor the popular Anime that it later influenced. This is a completely original story using many familiar elements found only in the game, Ragnarok Online. Only rarely will certain themes from the manhwa or other Ragnarok related material be used in this story. Elements of the game that are currently under consideration for inclusion in my this series are as follows; Non Player Characters (or NPCs), Monsters, Items, and even Quests.

Also, it would be wise for those of you that are at the least mildly experienced in this game to bare in mind that I will be using my own interpretation of many things such as character names, locations, and even skills, to tell the story. I will keep everything realistic in the sense that this is a story being told and not a game being played. Baring that in mind, I would greatly appreciate that any critiques of my work be limited to the style of writing, the flow of the story/character development, and most importantly, my grammar.

As many of you can imagine, the last thing I need to see are comments telling me how unlike the actual game the elements in my story are, or, comments that show too much hate or far too much praise. I don't need to describe how much of a waste of my time and more importantly, yours, it would be for you to get the picture. So, when leaving me comments about my work, whether you love it or hate it, please stay as objective as possible. Thanks in advance.

It is my hope that this series is well received. Should it make it past even the second chapter release I would greatly consider any suggestions for continuations in the series. Yes, This means that, what you all want could very well make it into the story at some point or another, at my own discretion of course. I'll leave details as to how to contact me with any suggestions on the matter when and if the time comes. For now, lets see how things go and hopefully you all have fun reading what I've cooked up.
